Linda Thomson visited Stratford upon Avon with her daughters school and from that moment felt she never wanted to leave. She moved here with her two daughters, from Elstree, in 1984.
Oringinally a Victorian townhouse built in 1882, the property Linda now calls ‘Cymbeline’ was, when she first spotted it, derelict and run down but seeing the potential she set to work making it the elegantly restored home it is today.
Linda has always felt that Stratford upon Avon is very special to her and recently discovered that her family lived here and in the surrounding area from around 1835. Her paternal grandmother was also born here.
“People often say Cymbeline has a lovely warm feeling, that is how I feel about it” (Linda)
